Lily Rabe
American actress Lily Rabe. Her multiple roles on FX's horror anthology series American Horror Story (2011-2021), are what make her famous. For her role as Portia in the Broadway's production of The Merchant of Venice she was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Actress. Film credits include What Just Happened (2008). Pawn Sacrifice (2014). Miss Stevens (2016). Golden Exits (2017). Vice (2018). Fractured (1999). The Tender Bar (2021). Rabe is also featured on television in The Whispers (2015) and The Undoing (2020), The Underground Railroad (2021) and The First Lady (2022). Her screen debut came in 2001 opposite Jill Clayburgh, her mother. She also made her first professional stage debut with her mother at the Gloucester Stage Company of Massachusetts. She appeared in Speaking Well of the Dead (by Israel Horovitz) and The Crazy Girl (by Frank Pugliese), roles which enabled her to get an Equity Card. In addition, she appeared in Proof the play by David Auburn, at the Gloucester Stage Company in July 2003. In the same year she was in Mona Lisa Smile. She came back to New York after graduating. Deirdre O’Connor's White Jesus was her first-act play. It was part of a play series known as The Democracy Project, presented by the Naked Angels Theater Company.
